At Honest Bodywork, we utilize the entire session to work on the affected muscles while using the remainder of the session to work on the secondary areas that are causing additional tightness or that have been compensating for the injured/weaker side.

Identify the root cause

Each session starts with a 5-10 minute pre-session consultation to assess your body and to determine where the source of your pain is coming from.

Deep, focused work

The entire session is used to figure out the root cause of your ailment while also releasing the tight muscles surrounding the affected area. No full body, Swedish “feel good” massages are done here.

Educate the client

We offer ways to improve your posture and quality of life with specific exercises, stretches, and self massage techniques.

What do you need for your first session?

Before each session, a pre-consultation will be performed to find out where the source of your pain is coming from and an attack plan will be written up


What should I do during the session?

You want to focus on relaxing your body. Deep breathing helps as it helps the body relax. Additional tension will accumulate if you hold your breath during the deep techniques.
